I've heard a little about the other adults in her life. I'm not perfect, but I can be a hell of a lot better than that.

If you've heard, then I suppose I have no reason to hide it.

I don't expect anyone to be perfect. Nobody is, you know? But Satoko's never had a proper adult figure in her life. Even if I and some of the other club members might be adults now--there's definitely a distinct difference. Especially since Satoko is almost like a younger sister to me. Even if I know that I probably haven't been acting like a proper one, haha.

She still needs friends, too. Friends who understand the mistakes she's made and don't hate her for it. Don't sell yourself short.

I have no plans on hating her for whatever she's done. I'm certain that Satoko has her own reasons for doing it--whatever "it" is. That is why I'm willing to hear her out. But only when she's ready. I'm not going to force it out of her when she isn't.

I'm not sure she knows who she is if she's not part of Rika's life.

They've only had each other for the longest time. That's how they always lived for many years.

I don't know if she can do that on her own. Sometimes leaving yourself to your own thoughts can be dangerous. Especially for someone who is rather dependent on another. It's a feeling that I understand well.
